Employer's Liability Insurance Second Layer

The purpose of the Employer's Second Layer Liability Insurance is to cover your employer's liability that may correspond to you against claims for personal injuries that may be suffered by your employees in an accident at work.

Coverage

Some of the basic coverages are:

  • The payment of indemnities derived from employee claims for personal injuries caused during their working day.
  • Defense Expenses incurred under our legal direction arising from the Claim covered by the Policy.
  • Cross Liability derived from Employer's Liability.

There are restrictions such as:

  • The policy covers Claims reported during the period of insurance or its date of discovery, for events occurring during the period of insurance.
  • The Limit of indemnity shall be the amount agreed with the Insurer and set forth in the Individual Conditions of the Policy.
