Transparency Policy

What criteria we use to choose and compare the products of the insurance companies.

Insurance brokers/brokerage firms are the only professionals qualified and empowered to advise you from the strictest independence and impartiality with respect to insurance companies. That is why the advice we submit for your consideration has been based on an objective analysis, consisting of a generalized analysis of insurance contracts offered by a sufficient number of insurance companies operating in the market, considering what corresponds to your request and your profile within an assessment of merits to find a correct personalized recommendation of coverage to your requirements and needs.

That is why we negotiate distribution agreements with insurance companies, both general and specialist, that are able to offer the best insurance products. We are able to propose the best alternative suited to your needs.

Apart from the experience gained over the years and the knowledge we have of the sector, the criteria taken into account to choose the Insurance Companies with which to establish commercial relations, in order to proceed with the placement of the risks, will be based on the following premises:

  • We analyze the solvency of the entity on which you intend to distribute your products and that they have administrative authorization from the Directorate General of Insurance and Pension Funds.
  • We examine the policy conditions of those insurance branches that are of interest to our clients, reviewing coverage, exclusions, deductibles, prices and other conditions, in addition to assessing aspects such as service, attention and management in the event of a claim.

Insurance companies on which we offer products and the contractual relationship with the distributor.

In accordance with the insurance distribution regulations, we agree the best conditions for the distribution of products with the insurance companies without these contracts affecting our independence as advisors. Since the broker performs his work in favor of the client and not the company.

As a result of these commercial agreements, we offer potential policyholders the possibility of underwriting insurance products with the best general and specialist companies.

What is the cost of the service we provide.

In principle, the service we provide has no costs for the client. In accordance with the regulations governing our activity, the remuneration received by the insurance broker from the insurer is in the form of commissions.

In some cases, due to the complexity of the product or as in the sale of investment products based on insurance, a written fee may be agreed with the client and the amount or the way to calculate it will be previously informed, issuing in this case an invoice separate from the premium receipt.

Is the insurance price at the end of the process guaranteed or not?

Through our mutitarification process you will obtain in a quick and easy way the prices and comparisons of the options we offer. Depending on each company, you will be warned if the final price is guaranteed or if it may vary depending on the risk and coverages. But you will always know the final price at the time of contracting.

For remote contracting by other means, we will always inform you of the final price of the insurance premium.

Insurance contracted remotely (whether life or non-life)

Policyholders have the right to withdraw from the contract without stating reasons and without penalty, provided that:

  • NOT contracts in which the policyholder assumes the investment risk or in which the guaranteed return is a function of the investments assigned to the contract (unit-linked insurance).
  • NOT for travel or baggage insurance of less than one month's duration.
  • NOT in the case of insurance policies with a term shorter than the withdrawal period.
  • NOT compulsory insurance for the policyholder.
  • NOT insured pension plans (life insurance contracts with the same operation and purpose as pension plans).

The wish to cancel is sent to the insurer, on paper or other durable medium, within 14 days (non-life) or 30 days (life), as from notification to the policyholder that the contract has been concluded or from receipt of the contractual information, whichever is the later.
