90% of companies do not have professionals specialized in cybersecurity.

On the one hand, 56% of companies lack a well-defined cybersecurity strategy and are far from complying with the Digitally Protected Organization model. The consequence is that their viability and future in the digital era are at stake. And another worrying reality is that 90% of companies do not have professionals specialized in cybersecurity.

These are data from the Report on Digital Maturity in Spain 2020-2021, which states that 73% of companies do not have the necessary incentive, training and communication mechanisms for their professionals to promote change in cybersecurity. In addition, 90% of companies have not incorporated profiles of professionals specialized in cybersecurity.

Insurance, among the leading sectors

While it is true that 82% of companies do not update the records of digital assets to be protected and 90% do not employ the most advanced cybersecurity techniques, there are sectors that stand out from this trend.
