In 2020, the funeral insurance business had a turnover of more than 2,559.8 million euros, growing by 1% compared to the previous year. Of this total, its main coverage contributed 2,119.4 million to revenue, increasing by 0.94%.
The Assistance guarantee, the most widespread, contributed to the branch's premium volume with 227.1 million, 1.65% more than in 2019. In third place is the Accident guarantee, with 104.9 million and a year-on-year growth of 0.97%. And behind them are Transfers, with 73.6 million and experiencing a decrease of 0.77%; and Sickness, which is the most minor guarantee with 17.7 million but, on the other hand, is the one that grew the most in the past fiscal year, increasing by no less than 4.81%. The rest of the guarantees increased by 3.41%, to 17 million in premiums.
